Some sessions feel like stepping into another era, and this was one of them.

I met up with Kristin and Mike at The Candy Bar in Laconia, New Hampshire for a speakeasy-style engagement session. Between the moody light, the vintage details, and the craft cocktails, the whole night had this old-soul energy — equal parts romantic and fun.

What I love about these two is how fully they leaned into the theme. Some of my favorite frames from the night are the unscripted ones — the laughter between poses, the looks they didn't know I caught.

The Candy Bar gave us everything — dark corners, velvet and brass, and that low golden bar light that makes every frame feel cinematic.
