There's a short window every October when New Hampshire turns to gold, and it's my favorite time of year for family portraits. These sessions are from last fall around the Concord area, and they show exactly why autumn beats every other season for family photos: warm light, crunchy leaves, and kids who would much rather throw leaves than sit still.
